Seen the same product cheaper on another UK website? We'll match any displayed retail price, right down to our own cost price. That's the only limit: we'll go to cost, and we won't go below it.

How it works

A link or a screenshot of the competitor product page showing the displayed retail price, the specification and the delivery cost. Before you order.

We check it's the same product

Same brand, profile, girth, material, finish and quantity. The price has to be openly displayed on a UK website, not quoted privately. Usually a ten-minute job.

We match it, or we go to cost

If their price sits above our cost, we match it outright. If it sits below, we drop to our cost price and show you exactly where the floor is. No haggling, no pretending.

Where the floor is

Our cost price is what we pay the manufacturer, including their delivery to us. To win your order we'll discount all the way down to it. Below that we'd be paying for the privilege of supplying you, so that's where we stop. And we'll tell you plainly when a rival has gone there.

The terms, in full

Eight clauses. Clause 1 and clause 3 are the ones people ask about.

  1. Eligibility. The guarantee is for end users, installers, contractors and specifiers buying for their own use or a named project. It is not for merchants, distributors, resellers or any business buying to resell.
  2. Evidence. We match retail prices openly displayed on a UK supplier's website and verifiable by us. Supplier invoices, purchase orders, private quotations, phone prices and login-gated pricing are not accepted.
  3. One claim, one decision. You get one claim per product per order. We review it once and give you our best price. We won't enter a bidding process, revisit a decided claim, or pass figures back and forth between you and another supplier.
  4. The cost floor. We match displayed prices down to our cost price and no further. Where a rival is selling below our cost we drop to cost and say so, rather than decline.
  5. Like for like. Same brand, profile, girth, material, finish and quantity. Delivered price against delivered price, both excluding VAT. Coating, brackets and fixings included in our price must be included in theirs.
  6. Timing. Claims are made before you order. A matched price applies to that order only and is not carried forward.
  7. Exclusions. Cannot be combined with promotional codes or clearance pricing. Standard delivery only. Timed, weekend and offload-assisted deliveries are quoted separately.
  8. Our discretion. We may decline any claim that is not genuinely like for like, cannot be verified, or looks designed to establish a price rather than to buy. Repeated speculative claims may end access to the guarantee.
