Alumasc Swaged - Round Circular Aluminium Downpipe
The Alumasc Swaged range of extruded aluminium downpipes is a traditional circular system designed for both new build and refurbishment projects. Available in a wide choice of pipe sizes and lengths, the range also includes bends, branches, access pipes, offsets, shoes, hoppers and associated fittings, providing a complete rainwater solution.
The system uses a conventional male/female push-fit connection with an enlarged swaged end to each pipe length, ensuring secure jointing and a straightforward installation process. Pipes are mounted on brackets to stand clear of the building façade, combining practicality with a clean, functional appearance.
Manufactured from high-quality aluminium, Swaged downpipes are lightweight, durable and resistant to corrosion. The design fully accommodates thermal movement while maintaining excellent rigidity and long service life, with an expected lifespan of up to 40 years in rural and suburban locations and up to 25 years in industrial or marine environments.
All products are available in plain mill finish for on-site painting, or with BBA-approved polyester powder coatings factory-applied in 26 standard colours, with additional BS or RAL shades available on request. As with all Alumasc aluminium systems, the Swaged range is 100% recyclable, delivering both sustainability and proven performance.
