Delivery Information
We will always strive to deliver any stocked (black Satin) item ordered via our website within 7 working day of order (10 to Scotland). Some product ranges ( DIFFERENT RAL COLOURS) may however take up to 7 -14 working days to deliver, please enquire with our sales office on 0330 053 9354, for accurate lead times before placing your order.
If we can’t deliver your order within 14 working days we will contact you immediately to advise of any extended lead time.
We regret that timed deliveries cannot be given. Deliveries will be made between 8.00am & 5.30pm Monday to Friday although if required special provision can be made at an extra charge for a Saturday AM delivery.
All materials must be signed for when they arrive on site, we would politely request that you sign and clearly print your name, therefore in the unlikely event of a delivery discrepancy we will have a person to contact by name.
We would politely ask that you check that you have received the correct goods and that all items are in good condition while the delivery person is still present, in the unlikely event that damage has occurred to your goods please accept the goods (please don’t return to sender) and mark this clearly DAMAGED on the delivery persons paperwork and contact our offices as soon as possible on 0330 053 9354. Failure to mark the delivery persons paperwork correctly may result in claims for damages not being honored.
All palletised goods will normally be sent on large delivery vehicles, the driver will off load by means of a pump truck and tail lift fitted to the delivery vehicle, the driver will then deliver by means of the pump truck as close as possible to the property whilst remaining on a hard standing surface.
Some of our cast materials are heavy (up to 40kg) and can also be awkward to handle, we would ask that you are mindful of this fact and use two people to carry lengths of cast iron gutter and downpipe where necessary. Stormguard Rainwater will not be held responsible for any injuries caused by self offloading.
Drivers will not hand off load goods which are palletised.
Due to the size of the delivery vehicles we would politely request that clear access is given to the property on the day of delivery, if you think that access may be an issue, please advise our sales office when placing your order. In the event of a failed delivery due to access restrictions that we have not been made aware of at the time of order this will result in additional delivery charges being applied for a re-delivery.
